due to having a baby growing inside you, does that increase the calories you burn during a day...and when doing exercise(walking for example..?

Yes, for a couple of reasons. First, you're carrying the baby around, and it adds weight, so it takes more calories simply to move. The other reason is that the baby is using some of the calories that you ingest for growing, so your total calorie usage is greater. It's not a LOT greater until later in your pregnancy, at least that's what they tell me. However, the first four months or so I was pregnant, I ate like the proverbial horse, and only gained a couple of pounds!

Obviously all exercise is good for you but there are two that would really good, they are running and swimming. Running is a legs only exercise but will help you for some reason to remember things more and be happier. Swimming is different, it uses your whole body with most muscles being used so it will tone as well as loose vital calories. Both are great forms of exercise.
