THERE ARE SEVERAL EFFECTS OF GLOBAL WARMING. THEY ARE
1. RISE IN SEA LEVEL DUE TO THE MELTING OF ICE IN THE POLES OF THE ICE.
2. DECREASE IN OXYGEN IN THE AIR LEADING TO RESPIRATORY DISEASES.
3. MIGRATION OF ORGANISMS ( INCLUDING HUMANS)LIVING IN THE EQUATOR TO COOLER PLACES ON THE EARTH
4. FREQUENT VOLCANOES DUE TO THE RISE OF TEMPERATURE IN THE CORE
5. DRYING OF WATER IN THE RIVERS AND LAKES AND SO ON.
THEREFORE THERE IS A URGENT NEED TO STOP POLLUTION AND OTHER FACTORS THAT CAUSE GLOBAL WARMING.
HOPE THIS HELPS :)

The only place on earth that is being affected by global warming is Al Gores Brain. His brain is running a few degrees above normal and it's causing irrevocable damage I'm afraid.30 Years ago someone just like him was saying in a 100 years the earth would be frozen and everyone was afraid of global freezing. These people are taking too many pills and really should seek alternative methods to whatever ails them.Ice caps have melted many times over all over the world throughout earths history. This is a normal event. We don't need global warming for it to be hot in the summer and cold in the winter,it's supposed to be that way. It's normal. But for someone like Al Gore whose obviously in dire need of a brain transplant it's not normal. There will always be alarmists throughout our existance but if we ignore them long enough they might just quietly go away.

It won't be a Hollywood style disaster. Gradually coastal areas will flood and agriculture will be damaged, due to changing patterns of temperature and precipitation. But it will be very bad. Rich countries will cope, but it will take huge amounts of money. In poor countries many people will die of starvation, but not all of them.

Damage to agriculture is already starting:

Most scientists say the worst effects will start in 20-50 years. But we need to start right now to fix it, fixing it will take even longer than that.

There will be a big report out on effects this June.

Global warming== because of the glaciers melting ice is fresh water and it does'nt mix with salt water, so I figure the fresh water is evaporateing at such enormous rate thats why we have so many large storms all over the planet. Gradually the sun will penetrate hotter through the ozone and burn everything. 1 way to controll it is only chance if the force field inventors would experiment to see if their system can control heat coming through.

Global warming wont happen. Even if we don't all nuke each other, there will be a cooling trend and a global wide climate shift will change the earth. Global warming is just a myth invented by people with too much time on their hands.

Don't believe Al Gore's hype. The average temperature of the earth is constantly changing. The sun and sun spots causes temperature changes. In the 1300's they grew grapes in England and Greenland had farms. In the 1930's we had the dust bowl in the US. Global cooling was the topic of the 1970's:

Thirty years from now global cooling will be the main topic of discussion. Al Gore will claim credit for it. Just like he claims credit for the internet.
