Well, if there weren't any electricity I think we would manage by finding altenative means of power . and lighting like kerosene lamps and solar power or gasoline powered washing machines. communication would be the greatest thing effected, becuase it would be a whole lot slower after all wouldnt have the telvision or the internet or telephones we would communicate threw newspapers and letters and conversation. but we would survive just look at all the things that humanity accomplished before eletricity was discovered and how civilizations ancient and mondern day tribes and as well as pepole in rual areas and impoverished and underdeveloped nations aswell as the amish have adapted and thrived.I think you question was a good one but it was a little vauge. You didn't specify if you meant what the weather it you meant what it would be like if it hadnt been discovered or if you mean what would it be like if we woke up suddenly and found out there was no eletricity.

You wouldn't be asking hypothetical questions on the Internet, and I couldn't answer them. Nobody could use the phone, as there would be no electric power and many industries would simply not be.

Life would be hard, what with dishes and laundry to be washed manually. We'd feel trapped in the 18th century. We'd rely on gas and oil a lot more, because we'd not realize how to make electricity. There would be no such thing as lightening, and we'd burn candles at night, etc.

My sweetheart would be out of a job because he's an electrician. Maybe he would be a farmer.

Electricity is just a flow of electrons. Without electrons, there would be no atoms. Without atoms, there would be no elements or molecular matter. Without molecular matter, there would be not planets or stars or life. If you meant, what would happen within our civilization if the lights went out, so to say, we would fall into lovely quiet and stillness as the hum of machines and electronics slowly died down across the world and eventually fell silent as their batteries wore out. And, as the silence grew, there would be confusion and sporadic disorder, martial law and food lines. Then massive starvation for a year. Without electricity, we would technologically fall back 150 years, but, for the most part, survive rather well once we got those veggie gardens growing. I would make clipper sailing ships.

to stop the electricity shortage , use your home accessories whenever required, keep ur pc shut when it is in no use, when u see the lights are on without any reason, pls shut it off, a bulb is not required to be on for temple instead of a 'diya', no lights shud be there for large hoardings after 23 hrs. so try to use minimum electricity. SAVE ELECTRICITY N SAVE INDIA.

If we had no electricity, we would be forced to live much like our ancestors, who used candles and oil lamps for light; burned wood for heat and cooking; heated water on the stove for bathing; suffered in the heat (no air conditioning); entertained themselves by playing music, having family conversations, going on neighborhood visits, etc.; and ate mainly fresh of home canned foods.

If electricity was never discovered, we'd be living in a world with no computers, no engines, no light bulbs, no neon lights, no atm vestibules.. heck we'd be living in the dark ages!

I couldn't get down town, cause
nobody knows how to cross
the street without a light.
