How come you dont see many disabled people working? I mean pretty much every public school has its community of disabled students so where do they go after they finish school?

I see many disabled people who work in offices, for reasons of practicality. It would be hard for someone with only one leg to be a mover. You'd be more likely to see that person in a file room, or as a receptionist.

American w/ Disabilities Act (if you are in america)

Workplaces, and consumer areas have to be in compliance, which means that they have to be handicap accesible. There are issues with what exactly accessible means.
The rub is that they only have to comply so much as it does not cripple their business

I see them working at the grocery stores and car washes all the time. I'm sure there are many other places they work at too.
