I don't tolerate it at at..I will say "do you have a problem with this?Me?You? what?"then go on to explain there is no need for sarcasm,Of course if they persist I simply walk away as they speak..

I didn't react so well today. she did get to me.
I was at the store, looking at hair color. I have some gray hairs and color my hair blonde. Anyway, I said to my hubby, dang they are out of my color, I guess you have to keep looking at all my gray hairs. A lady was listening and said Honey, you are not old enough to worry about that. She was being sarcastic. The look on her face was proof enough for me. I said Ah, I am older than I look.
She had a little girl in her basket and I said How old is your granddaughter, she said my daughter is 3. I said ohhhhh, well my grandson is about the same age...............
Yes I know some of you are thinking, she was paying me a compliment. But promise she wasnt.....

Do they have relatives and if so how many?
I am just trying to figure if it is worth the response.
Seriously, if they bring it, they do so at their own peril.
I grew up with sarcasm all around me, and unless I like you, I will assume it was an insult and not just a joke, and if I like you, it better be funny.

That's a tough one. There are many different types of sarcasm. Depending on the situation, I'll come right back with something even better, or I might just not say anything at all. Or, I might say something completely insulting, or I might not say anything at all. Or, I might come back with something really funny, or I might not say anything at all. Or, I might just walk away looking at you like you're a complete idiot.
