He cant play for Brazil even if his dad is Brazilian he was born in Mexico.

Plus: Once you have played in an official FIFA game with a national team then you cant play for ANY other team.

Brazil will kick him out cuz he won the U17 Champion with Mexico. There no way they want him beside Brazil got other good players. Dos Santos is Mexican and will play for Mexico.

If Giovanni wanted to play for brazil why would he help mexico when the Sub 17 World Cup. Also he shows he has great respect to the Mexican flag unlike someone else(Nery Castillo) Giovanni has many great friends in Mexico and he almost always gives it his best in every Game he has played with Mexico. Giovanni had also said (if you hadn't heard) that if things didn't work out in spain that he might Play for America(mexico) so I think that he will be one of Mexico's future stars.

i think its just a rumor even tough he already played in the u17 for Mexico he can chose any country he wants for his senior league. but the reason i don't think he will leave is because he is already playing for Mexico in the the sub 20

It's too late even if he wanted to becuase he already played for Mexico in the FIFA World Cup and won with. And besides, why WOULD he want to if he probably can't speak portugese and he was born and raised in Monterey and his mom is mexican.

It is all up to him because if he stays in Espain long enough he can also play for Espain but i dont think so he was raised Mexican so its in his heart to protect, n play for mexico like all Mexicans.
