i think you are misunderstanding about marketing concepts. Marketing isn't changed at all, it is created by the new environment. Before and in War World2 ( WW2), we have known about production concept ( concern about quantity only) and product concept(concern more about product's quality) , after WW2, we have known about selling concept( sell, sell and sell). And up to 21st century, almost countries all over the world have recognized about marketing concepts. Which is supplying what customer need, not like 3 previous concepts before, supplying what supplier wanted.
And there are not all countries all over the world can be suitable for marketing concept such as non- development countries... where they are still at the level of product concept, selling concept or even production concept at some poor countries. Marketing concepts only apply for development countries because development countries tend to require more satisfaction.
Anyway, it depend on the environment, different countries have different environments, and different environment, we need to use different concepts to make profit for our own business.

Yes this is true. I firmly believed that the development or the changes happening in the marketing industry has a lot to do with the consumers at large. The philosophies created in the marketing arena are largely based on the trends going around the buying market.

For me, the main ingredients in marketing hasn't changed a single bit. And they are:
1. Know Who's your customer
2. Knowing HOW to get to them
3. Get ready and offer what they want
Next, repeat steps 1 to 3 over and over again.
For example if you have a product on how you can educate a person step by step to achieve financial success - http://www.Sunnytung.com/BeAMillionaire.html
Find out who are your customers for this product, where they can be found, and start offering it to them.
Methods may change, but principals never change.
