trust me... i HATE the clothes my parents buy for me as presents and what not.. its been like that forever. it's just that we have a totally different style. so all the clothes they buy for me as a gift goes straight to my little sister. plus they always buy a size that's way to big for me. like i usually wear S or M for tops and they alwayz get L or XL. so i cant wear it anyways....
i remember for christmas like two years ago i got this long sleeve sweater from my step mom... (and she has like the worst fashion sense too...) and after spring break, i go to school and i see one of my teachers wearing that same exact sweater.. thank god i gave it to my little sister and never wore it.

I'm a little beyond teen years, but admittedly I don't always make good choices for the young people in my life.
My niece is 15 and she loves the stuff I buy her, except this one green sweater. She hated it. She wore it with a black skirt to mid night mass on Christmas eve and then it mysteriously disappeared. I knew I had made a big mistake. I made it up to her though. I took her shopping and let her pick a replacement. The green sweater reappeared, in my closet. I love it, but sometimes I forget that I'm not a kid anymore, and just because I like it doesn't mean she will.
