Hispanic simply means Spanish speaking. Many Hispanics are of pure Spanish blood and are entirely white European. Latino is an even more confusing label. It means anyone from Latin America. Neither label makes a lot of sense. My wife is a bank manager. She hired a woman of pure Spanish blood from a well to do family in Chile'. My wife had a hard time firing her because she had minority status. Most of the people we consider Hispanic are Mestizo. They are of mixed European and Native blood. This gives them their darker appearance, but technically, anyone who speaks Spanish and is from Latin America, is Hispanic.

My race is white (Caucasian). My ethnicity is Hispanic
There are five or six designated races: Caucasian, black, asian, aboriginal, and two others (can't remember).
However, there are many ethnicity's.
Therefore, Most Hispanics are ethnic minorities NOT racial minorities. Black Hispanics would be both racial and ethnic minorities.
