As a adult, I always try to be fair and try to listen to other peoples opinions. But you have to admit these am I preg. questions get out of hand. I have to admit I do get quite a laugh from the Teens even the so called Adults. But you also have to remember that as old as we are we were raised totally different then the young adults. If you were to watch and listen to most of the questions and answers you can tell the ones who don't respect, be fair,or listen to other peoples opinions and wether or not they are old or young. It would be nice to be able to read all nice answers just one night. I always say we all put our pants on the same way. But even you have to admit, like tonight, the brother stealing the boyfriends car and the mother covering up for him, they both shouldn't be treated fair or even get their opinions listened to. Both the kid and the parent is wrong. For once the sister wether teen or adult was the one being treated unfair tonight. So I guess it is how you look at us, I am considering myself to be very fortunate that I can choose between teen or adult as to how to answer each question, because alot of adults, even me screw up, but we are supposed to know better. It's all in how you answer it or ask it.

its not about giving you a fair go, its about giving you the advice you asked for and hopefully being of some assistance. As a young adult ( mid 20's) i don't think i'm too far from my teens to have forgotten the stuff you go through, but i am old enough to pass on some of the things i've learned in life.

Do you think as a teen that you actually listen to the advise given to you? or do you just dismiss it as another act of control by adults?

Just because you are a teen doesnt mean you cant have a valued opinion. Being an adult myself I would listen to anyones opinion, dont care what age the person is? It doesnt mean we know everything. We wish.......

Most people on here don't know if I'm a teen or not. That the beauty of it. you cant tell who is or who isn't so people have to take each answer equally to another. ( unless there is a way to find out someones ages.... but who would go to that much trouble just for an answer )

Well I'm 12 and it's harder for me to get best answers compared to my brother who is 21. So yes I think we have a HUGE disatvantige because adults don't expect much knowledge from us. Actually my younger brother who is 4 teaches me alot so I don't think that age is a matter of smarts!

Well, I dun think they really investigate my age. But, it's a tragic truth; teenage minds are under-appreciated. That's based on science, though. Our brains aren't fully developed until our early/mid twenties. It doesn't really bother me when it happens. What bothers me most is the "You're too young to be in love" generalization. Love knows no bounds.

>_<

I just spared you all from an extremely long rant. Haha... You're very lucky.

no. They think that we are all to young and stupid.

Honestly though, I'm not a teen but I was one not too long ago. I am willing to listen to suggestions and opinions from anyone no matter what their age. Isn't that how we all learn?

I read each question, but as an adult, we do have more experience at life and have learned from our mistakes, so we feel like we have advice to give, but at the same time, just as we have learned from our mistakes, young people have to also, but this does'nt keep us from trying to keep you from the same mistakes! yes, I realize it's a different wourd today, but that does'nt keep us from trying, we have Grandchildren, or young people we care about and want to keep safe!
