You have a valid question. In fact the cricket control board is allowing with prior permission to the cricketers for earning extra money as the players are paid for the days of match and not for other days. The players are not the employees of the Indian Cricket Control Board and hence there is no act to restrict the players from accepting the advertisement and thereby earning extra money. ICC should come foreword with an act which can restrict the players from accepting any advertisement or the act should allow cricket control board to give advertisement to a deserving player and the payment should be accepted by the board and all players to be paid on monthly basis as salary then the vested personal interest shall have no effect and the quality of the team shall also improve. It is well known fact that the match fixing and batting has also spoiled our standard.

Waste of material and other matters can be controlled by right of information act. If you feel you can be starting point.

As regards politician you cannot stop. Might is right is applicable any one who is in power is the boss and no one Can object to it. The objector suffers as he/she is given threat so what can we do. Yes, if a strong opposition can be build it can be stopped.

The Indian govt. is happy to spend all the money as it benefits them, why should they control it ? It is the tax payer who should first ask how the govt. is spending the money, make the govt. accountable and only then pay the taxes. Everything is running on the poor tax payers account and he should become aggressive and has a right to know how the money the govt. collects in taxes is spent.
The cricketers should not be allowed to participate in modelling, acting, TV, advertisements, anyone found doing this should be removed from team India immediately, only this can ensure that the team concentrates on the game and not become soft and useless on the field.
