Wow...that must be weird having those bugs as roommates.

Put a couple in a zip-loc and take them to someone with a microscope or magnifying glass and try to identify them.
Do they have wings and are flying insects?

In the meantime, I would think a good insect spray like Raid should get rid of them temporarily.
And, you better have a good look at your bed sheets before turning in tonight.

Those insects you describe sound like the very ones I had once before, what I did was use this method and they died in about a day or two You can make traps for them that can be used anywhere around your house by filling an old jar about halfway with apple cider. Punch a few holes in the lid, screw it back on, and you're good to go. And then when you have gotten them all you can then stop insects from comng back in to your home, Exterminate roaches and repel insects

Don't let cockroaches, insects, or spiders get the upper hand in your home.
Keep a can of WD-40 handy, and when you see a roach, spray a small amount directly on it for an instant kill.

To keep insects and spiders out of your home, spray WD-40 on windowsills and frames, screens, and door frames. Be careful not to inhale the fumes when you spray and do not do this at all if you have babies or small children at home.

any plants in the house? -- they could be little gnats that live in the soil http://www.extension.umn.edu/projects/yardandgarden/AAMG/houseplants/fungusgnats.html
