I would like to get a puppy and a kitten about the same age so they would grow up together and be friends. I have thought of naming the puppy - Kitty and the kitten - Puppy. What do you think? Wouldn't this be cute?

I named my dog Kittie and my cats Giraffe and Tuna. It doesn't confuse anyone. It's not very original I guess, but I like to tell people I have to go home and feed my Giraffe and Tuna.

In the end the puppy will come to puppy, and the kitten will come to kitty... you all three will be confused. Think of something better, call the puppy KC, for kitty cat and the kitten pick a dog name, like "dee oh gee" DOG

No, it would just confuse the animals when people visit your house and say "here kitty," or "here puppy" and the opposite animal of what they expected comes. The guest would probably give the animal a negative reaction and just confuse it. I say call one Ren and the other Stimpy.
