can anyone help me find parallels between the characters in the book and essay?

I think one of the parallels is concerned with the key issue of dictatorship and those under its command. It is quite obvious in the case of "Animal Farm" since we can read and learn how the pig dictators exploited all the treasures in the Manor Farm and nearly all animals there. However, it is a bit hard to visualize such an incident in the said essay, thus, the case of the writer during his stay and studying there inferred his limited ways of doing things or speaking freely, that is, that school did not allow democracy to students there in general.
