I'd fix it a little bed in it's own little room where the night light would always be on. I would love it and feed it and teach it how to read and write. When it got old enough to ask where it came from I'd tell it "Your daddy was a pistol ; you're a son of a gun." And then I would rub my temples and say "Shoot me."

The VERY first thing I would do is put a cloth over my hand or the gun before touching it to avoid fingerprints.
Then I would sit and ponder about the power of holding a weapon that has the power to take a life. I would then wonder if the weapon I was holding had ever actually taken a life before.
I would then assess whether it would be useful to me or a headache that I would be constantly worrying about.

Unload it
Put the safety on
Teach my kids about gun safety and respect and handling of a gun
Then lock it in a gun safe

burning a loaded gun is dangerous, most wont burn anyways.
throwing a gun away is incredibly irresponsible.
dropping a loaded weapon might get you shot.

well if i was on the brink of suicide then i would go crazy and kill as many innocent people as i can with me. i wouldn't face any punishment by our society b/c i would kill myself LAST. especially the people who i hated in the past. but i'm not suicidal because i'm afraid of death. but i do take a gun all the time and shoot/kill people and never got caught yet in gta SA.
