When I first got married 18 yrs. ago, Pre-Nups were not
so important....But now...They are a must....

Had one. Cost me a bundle. Tore it up after a year of marriage. That was 10 years ago...we're still going strong. Prenups depend on the State you're in, to some extent. Also, consider this...you're partner will be upset that she isn't "trusted". That can be overcome. But if you're planning on kids, prenups usually go out the window. If no kids din the plans, consider simply skipping the formalities of marriage and enter into a contractual relationship. In many places, the laws regarding breaching a contract are less Draconian than the laws concerning dissolving a marriage. So make a contract with your beloved and, if you want to, simply tell everybody you're married. This, incidentally, is not legal advice. Just some thoughts on the subject.

Those things make me sick. If you can't trust each other, then don't get married. Have an affair; shack up for a bit; have a fling, but if you have to sign one of those things it's not a marriage, it's a cold hard business arrangement.
Pre-nuptial agreements are all about money and property, and have no place in a loving relationship.
