Power boats and small budgets rarely co-exist. I would say your best bet would be a good used boat. Many quality boats that are 20 or 30 years old are in excellent shape and can be had for a small fraction of new. Look on Yachtworld.com to see a large number of brokerage boats available complete with descriptions and pictures for most listings. As for new, some of the lower priced brands are Meridian, Carver, and Silverton. As with everything else, you get what you pay for.(if your lucky)
