There seems to be a shortage of trustfull humans these days.Less respect for one another and me me me myself and I.The older you get the worse it gets. I,m liking pets more and more each day.

Haha. I understand ya. It's so true. People are always looking for someone to step on so they can move up. Up up up. That is all we are about today...moving up..by any means necessary. People will use and abuse you and not give a care about it if it benefits them. I think it is also because we are so brainwashed and desensitized by things such as television, movies. We see people act that way there so we don't even really think twice about acting that way in real life. A lot of plots on shows and in movies are about scheming to move up and with that comes disrepect and a lack of trust. Selfishness is the norm these days. We all just want to get as much as we can when we are young (sex, money, thrills) at the expense of whoever....and then we want to sit back and enjoy our money when we're older and have no one bother us. I get fed up with it too. A pet is such a wise thing to have. It is so loving all the time and it doesn't have a distrustful cell in its body!
