There seems to be a shortage of trustfull humans these days.Less respect for one another and me me me myself and I.The older you get the worse it gets. I,m liking pets more and more each day.

I hear you girlfriend. Pets are loyal even when you get mad at them. But there are still some good people in the world also. They just seem harder to find now.

I like pets as well, but I know there are still plenty of nice, caring people in this world, you just need to spend time with the right people.

People that have faced little adversity are more likely to be jerks since they have no concept of how it feels to be treated badly. Someone who does know what it feels like can be bitter because of it and just harbor resentment for everyone. Then there's the empathetic people who know how anything feels, and are genuinely good enough to treat people decently.
