Sometimes it takes up to a year to get back onto a regular schedule of periods after having a baby. I would suggest going to your OB/GYN to have them give you the best advice on conceiving again. I don't think very many if any of your answers are going to come from a doctor.

I know that it can take a while for your body to get back to normal when after having a baby. I would go to the doctor for a routine check up, it may be that your hormones are still every where.
You could go out and get an ovulation kit, but it will be harder and more expensive as you don't have a period to go on by (if you know what I mean)!
I have irregular periods and even then it's hard to detect when I am ovulating. I have to detect at an earlier time, it's difficult.
Go and see your GP for advice and then see what they recommend.
Good luck x

If you're still breast feeding, that can often mean you dont have periods until quite a while after you have stopped, thats why many women think this can be a safe time, & fall pregnant soon after having had a baby, as they can think they wont get pregnant, but this is not always the case.
After having my Daughter, I didn't have a period for a little over a year, breastfeeding for 10 months, & my periods took a while to settle into a normal routine again, I think my first 2nd one wasn't for 2,1/2 months, after the 1st.
I do think this can be quite normal, but it would be sensible to see a Doctor, just incase there are other problems that need addressing, especially as your trying to fall pregnant again, but its probably nothing to worry about.
good luck

I have not the different recommendations for you, you may the two wait and spot if a era comes or you may flow purchase a attempt... the two way you will locate out faster or later. good success.
