get an alienware laptop
those are the best laptops you could possibly find on earth and they are soooo awesome looking
they are about 1400 but they are really worth it
they have everything you are looking for and lots more
it has so many ports on it you wouldnt even think you could use so many

Id go with an Alienware, however that is pretty expensive, BUT once you get it, you dont have to upgrade for a LONG while.
if not, you can probrably get a Sony, also, a cheap computer usually means its pretty weak or unreliable... you cant really expect much from a cheap computer, what you pay is what you get... exept in the case of if you build your own.
However, STAY AWAY from Compaq and Gateway, I have a Compaq laptop that contiunually crashes, I also remember consumer reports ranking compaq and gateway as bad

I wouldn't get a Dell -- I've had trouble with them. I recently bought an ASIS laptop -- no problems and pretty cheap with a longer warranty than most manufacturers. In-built blue-tooth and Wifi with DVD burner (and software).

Dell Inspiron 1501. My family and the company I work for use them. They are good value and reliable. You can get one with an 8x dual layer DVD burner, 1GB of RAM and dual core processor for around $700.

Anything but Dell. Maybe Sony but Dell and Sony had a battery recall. i use a Toshiba and already had to send it off twice to get fixed.

Get a dell, make sure you get one of the more expensive ones though, because the cheaper one aren't as good.
