Is it possible to seal a felony in the state of New York? If so how and if not what can I do?

It was 10 years ago and I have been out of trouble and completed my probation a year ago. I find it is still affecting my ability to get a good job. I moved to Florida and did my probation there. Do Florida Laws apply for sealing records?

Unless you were a minor, almost certainly not. If you went to prison, then never.
As the previous person mentioned, an executive pardon can be issued to a person who has led an exemplary life (and is usually a campaign contributor).
However, that does not erase the conviction. You would still have to disclose it on request.
Or, you can do what some of my clients do. When asked, they say "No". Ever been convicted? NO. Ever been arrested or charged? NO. Ever picked your nose? NO. Unless you're going for a government or security job, you will probably get away with it, I know they do.

You may be able to have your record expunged. That would be like it never happened. Call NY from your court documents.
They can tell you the process.

You will feel better without that hanging over your head. Don't
worry about the court having a record hiding somewhere.
They won't tell unless you mess up again.

You will have to have it done in the court where you were sentenced.

Call a attorney that pratice is Criminal Law, the attorney can tell you. I doubt you can have the record sealed, since you were apparently guilty. If it had been dismissed or a not guilty, probably.

The only way to erase the felony is basically to get a pardon from the governor/senator....or even President for that fact...not sure what your chances are though
