I am having six computers at my office and connected them on LAN by using HUB and using internet sharing, but now I am having problem on the main computer like whenever I insert the LAN cable the system restarts and when I formatted it and started sharing it does not detect any connection please help me its urgent

if ur system restarts whenever u r inserting the cable then i am 99.999% sure that u r having a driver conflict. correct driver installation should solve ur problem. u can check the chipset used in the LAN card to be sure what driver to install.

I had a similar problem ( not the same ), with 8139(A/B/C) driver ( Realtek ).

did you install the drivers? check device management. is firewall on, assuming its XP/Vista, also, are you using a hub/switch that connects to a router or another hub? Make sure to check if it has a uplink port or if you are using a cross-over cable or not for the connection

If I were you, I would use SWITCH/Router than HUB.
HUBs will divide your bandwidth speed into 6 users while if you have SWITCH, you can enjoy full speed from your provider.
With regards to your problem, you have to check if your hub is auto-sensing if not, try to use a cross-cable patch cord.
