YES! That is THE best gift for a baseball fan! You don't even have to be a baseball fan to enjoy it. I bought the companion book that Burns wrote along with the series, but I really want the DVD set. Your wife rocks! IIt's also an amazing gesture that she gave up Desperate Housewives to let you watch it. Women don't miss that show for anything. If you didn't already take her out for your anniversary, you have got to take her the the best restaurant around now.

Ken burns baseball is 30 hours of bliss i watched it when it was first on i have the box set of vhs and as soon as i can afford to i'm upgrading to the dvd's i'm only 25 and i remember the miniseries coming out when i was like 10 but i watched it and loved every minute of it
