Is there any way to get DNA from liver without any operation? Is it possible to get it from blood? How?

DNA from the liver or any body part would be the same. Each of our cells have our complete genome contained within the nucleus. But if you specifically wanted to get it through the liver, a needed can be inserted through the abdominal wall and a small sample drawn. However, I've truly never heard of this being done other than to remove liquid from around the liver.

Yes. DNA is present in urine, saliva, blood, semen, hair follicles, tooth pulp, etc... To get DNA from the blood, you would have to take a certain enzyme to break it apart. This is very advanced and requires specific enzymes, depending on what part of the DNA you want broken into nucleotides. This is how DNA analysis works in forensics.

Why would you want to get it from the liver, when other simpler sources such buccal mucosa are available?
