If black women refused to date thugs?

Question

..and only date guys who engaged in a healthty, productive lifestyle like going to school and working legit jobs could they drasticly change the trend of black men who got involved in the thug culture. Since men buy cars and jewelry mostly to impress and attract women and being drug dealers, hustlers, etc. could no longer do so, would they go a different route if they knew women prefered a stuggling college student over a rich thug?

See that's what I've been saying! And not just black women, but if all women would refuse to date low life scum and would stop settling for these losers because they are afraid that they can't do better, then the men would have to step up. People treat you the way you allow them to treat you. Unfortunately this is really messing things up for women like me, who do refuse to settle for guy that behave like that! Because men are now looking for all women to be pushovers and easy and if you aren't then they'll just move on to the next chick. I dunno I think we've all just got our priorities messed up these days.

It might cut down on the "thug life" a little but, the thug life is more than just about impressing women it is about the money. Not to impress women but to get all the material things this 'thug' ever wanted. It makes a "thug" feel important to be flashy. The real problem are in the drug addicts they are the ones supplying the drug dealers with money. What we need to be thinking about is how to get drugs out the streets and keep kids away from them so that we can stop an addiction epidemic before it gets worse.

Every women has to decide for herself just as every man has to decide whether to be a thug. Women date thugs because they are dangerous exciitng men. The same reason they date firemen, military types.
