It's Chris Jericho.
WWE's official website confirmed on July 28, 2005 that Chris Jericho signed a short-term contract extension to stay with the company after his long-term contract expired, which presumably ended after his loss to Cena on August 22nd.

Jericho left to persue his music career with his band Fozzy. He has been offered contracts for both WWE and TNA. However he has said that if he does come back it will be to the WWE.
