lol i dont get how somebody can be born gay. how does that work? Don't you people believe in Jesus?

You ppl are weird. If you read the bible ull know that it's only normal for a girl and a guy to be together. Thats why a guy and a guy cant make a baby together. Or a girl and a girl. The only normal way is a GIRL and a GUY. I think hitler shouldve burned all the gay ppl in this world. THats just sick to see two gays making out. It grosses me out. And also, It IS an excuse to say that u r just born gay. U dont even know what sexuality and attraction is when ur born. U develop that as the yrs go by u retards.

First, I'll answer your question directly: People say that because they believe it. There are several theories about sexual orientation and "being born gay" is just one of them. People tend to believe that theory because it is the easiest one for them to understand and they don't have to label parental upbringing or any other social force as the cause.

People are born gay the same way people are born black, white ,boys and girls. Do some research on the matter and u will find the information you seek. Didnt Jesus say love thy neighbour, do unto others as you want done to you, or something along those lines. If you as a believer in Jesus think it is ok to hate people who are gay, then you are just as hypocritical as the next Jesus lover who hates.

So by your logic people aren't born straight either. Even though animals have been having heterosexual intercourse for literally billions of years (Oh wait, your a Christian) For literally 6,000 Years, it must be a learned habit. Not one that is written in our genes.
My other question is, what are your qualifications for stating such an opinion about the genetic make up of a large group of human beings. Do you possess even an undergraduate in Biology or Genetics? To make *such* an assertion I would say you would have to atleast have a doctorate to be taken seriously.

People say they are born gay because they are naturally attracted to members of their own sex, kind of like how straight people are naturally attracted to people of the opposite sex. It doesn't matter if they believe in Jesus, because Jesus had nothing to do with it. There are gay people in all kinds of religions.

i've never had a str8 thought in my life, really. as for 'don't you people believe in Jesus?' sorry 'bout that but there are more religions out there other than christianity and so not everyone believes in your Jesus. And yes some of us do believe in Jesus, like my girlfriend for example.

Well I know I could never be physically attracted to a women...could you ever be physically attracted to someone of the same sex if you aren't? or can you be attracted to the opposite sex if you aren't? Use common sense, smart one. Now, I'm not sure if there is any scientifical reasoning that has to do with it but HELLO you DON'T GET TO CHOOSE WHAT SEX YOU LIKE BOTTOM LINE! good grief!

because we are! and we're growing quite weary of those who "use" religion to justify their bigotry. not believing in God or in Jesus has nothing to do with ones sexuality. God created and loves us all!
when exactly did you "choose" to be straight? we you born that way? or did something happen to make you "turn" straight? do you not see how ridiculous (and insulting) those questions are?
