Did you ever find true love again?

Yes, I did find true love again within months because after being dumped by my ex i realised there are better people out there looking for love. This taught me not to give up and showed me the importance of love in life..

The how long doesn't matter. You'll just drive yourself crazy trying to put a time limit on how love shoudl be delivered to your door.
Love; thank heavens; doesn't work like that.
What matters is that you are living life on your own terms. And although you were just "dumped", you shouldn't view it that way because it totally turns you into a victim.
Usually when someone breaks up with us they totally do us a favor. We just don't see it because we are so caught up in our emotions. In the long run you will see that this person who has hurt you was simply not meant for you. Instead of getting choked up in "self-victimization" think about all the possibilities: dating, traveling, writing, cooking, dancing, hanging with friends; your life can be fullfilling without a partner.
And honestly when you are "doing you", almost magically Mr/Mrs. Right appears without warning because great relationships arent' planned.
And yes something bigger and better will come along...as long as you are creating the life of your dreams for yourself. You will find true love; there's not doubt about it; you've just got to believe.
Nobody can make you happy; only you can do that. So making yourself happy should be your primary focus.

I wasn't "dumped" I left the marriage...I don't know if it's "true love" but I fell in love all over again with someone I knew in highschool. It took about two weeks after I returned to California for that to happen.

Poor thing. With me, I had another boyfriend in a few days. Then another. Then another. Then... well you see where this is going. I felt that ache for a long time, but it lessened with each day. (I promise) I didn't fall in love with a man again for many years. But I can be kind of dramatic that way.

i think it can take a while, or it can happen so quickly, i guess it just depends on how special the person is and how he touched ur heart ; >

erm.. depends on how much u love someone..if u really love him or her, den it's harsh.. but one day u will definitely find your true love again...
