if you are breast feeding BAM it goes flat in like 4- 6 weeks. if not i suggest 10 push ups then 20 crunches rep two more times then lay on your tummy and stretch upwards pushing on your hands like a push up push up without using your knees or toes. then rep 5 more sets, we did this in conditioning for swimming. do swimming. its an all body workout, you get your arms, back, stomach, and legs working all at once. and there are four different kinds of official swim techniques, 5 if you want to try elementary back stroke. but swimming is easier on a body after a medical recovery or whatever, I dont know the proper word for it. but yeah its good for the body and i love it.
plus you can get a pretty good tan in the water. the water reflects 100% UV rays so be careful and wear sumscreen if your swimming outside and not in an indoor pool area.

oh welcome to one of the major cosmic jokes about becoming a mother..the flat stomach....I went on a major diet this last year and lost 30 pounds..and worked out like mad 6 days a week...and for a month my tummy was finally flat...mind you my baby is 26.....then I gained 5 pounds back because everyone was telling me I looked skeletel.not such a good thing..guess what immediately came back? You got it....eat sensibly, exercise...do your crunches and learn to accept that you really have a womans body now....

Are you breastfeeding? If so this will aid tremedously in flattening your tummy, when your baby sucks it stimulates the uterus to contract back down to its normal size
