You are probably not allergic to chlorine, although the gas Cl2 can be irritating in small quantities and deadly in large quantities.

Your body is full of sodium chloride, and potassium chloride, salts required for life.

The "cure" for allergies is taking anti-histamines, like benadryl, for moderate cases, all the way up to carrying an autoinjector filled with epinephrine (aka EpiPen) if you are so sensitive that you might die in a few minutes from anaphylactic shock and need to inject medication within seconds.
