I know he disappears for a while, but does he ever come back?

in the anime version, he makes an appearance in Shippuuden episode one....but i think the animators got a little anxious to put him in bc he wasnt supposed to show up until another arc and a half was done...
i dont know the exact episode he'll show up, but in the manga it is halfway through volume 4. heres a link if you wanna check it out:

In terms of the anime, he hasn't really made a full appearance yet in Naruto Shippuden.
They do show a scene with him at the very beginning of Shippuden for a couple of minutes though, foretelling how the story is going to go, but that is for the future and is the only appearance of Sasuke so far in the anime.

Sasuke never comes back after the first part, but he comes back during part 2, in Shippuden.

the very first episode of naruto shippuuden but it was more like a fastforward
