my old chocolate cell phone screen broke, so my insurance gave me a new one... i need to export all my contacts on to my new one..

they will do it for you free at the verizon store where you exchanged it

If you go to a Verizon Wireless store they will do the transfer for $10.
In the future: upload your address book to Backup Assistant and make sure it's kept synced up to your phone. Then, if you need to restore your address book on a new phone, you can do it without having to enter by hand or taking it in to a VZW store for a fee.
Better still: the service is free for those who have online account access.
