Yes. I'd also volunteer to be the executioner in a state that uses the death penalty. I tire of hearing about how the death penalty, namely lethal injection, is "inhumane". Bull hockey. What about the manner in which most victims are killed? We are supposed to be sensitive to the killer's sensibilities? I'm going on a different rant, but, yeah, I could kill a person, but be aware there are consequences for your actions, both in society and before the Lord Almighty. As others said here, if it were to protect family, undoubtedly I'd do what I could to protect them, if it meant killing. Even to protect a stranger that was in danger, I would do so. Not that I have bloodlust, I just know that sometimes certain measures are called for, but our society makes us afraid to even blow our nose without "offending" someone. Violence and death are ugly situations, but there are plenty of instances in the Bible where people who were followers of the Lord killed other people for various reasons. Witness what happened to the people on the Earth during Noah's time; the Lord killed everyone and everything except Noah and his family and the animals saved on the Ark because the world was exceedingly wicked. Sodom and Gamorrah's inhabitants were killed via brimstone and fire because they were wicked. King David killed many a foe in the Lord's name. I am not saying killing is a good thing by any means, but keep in your mind that evil people are more rampant than ever, and to protect yourself and those you love, you may have to kill, but I don't wish you or anyone to be involved in such a situation.

When I was getting drafted into the Army I felt that I wouldn't kill any one or couldn't kill some one.

But in playing war games I came to a point where I knew that there could well be a point at which I could kill.

But as to my day to day living, killing some one is some thing that I don't think I could ever do.

no, I found out the hard way i couldn't, I can't even cause real pain to another, even when I'm being attacked, all I could do was try to fend him off. I guess I'd be dead if nobody saved me... kinda scary realization, but there it is..
