Okay I say this with no racist intent, is sports...?

one of the only ways that whites and blacks truly come together and you have white corporate America backing black males??? I mean I am so totally for integration in all areas of everything but you rarely see it anywhere other than sports! (and rap music that makes white label owners rich) I mean where else do you see corporate America kiss the *** of so many black men that they are usually scoffing off at you know for their "ghetto, thug mentality".. I think it's such a blessing that we have this avenue to unite people...but I think it's pretty hypocritcal that they support them in athletics but not in school and other areas. I just think it's backwards. I know that a lot of racism does still exist...but March Madness, for example, is largely a group of 90% African American males, and you see corporate America shoveling out money and sponsorships for this event..but you don't see corporations giving money to the ghetto. I am a white girl and I date a black guy so I'm not at all racist

We are an anomaly. We are the cash cows when it comes to sports. Our aggressiveness shows on the court and in the field and in music. It is glorified this way. Any other aspect of this is SHUT DOWN and taken from us blacks. Thats why academia and all the rest plays second fiddle...
