LAPTOP on or off?

should i leave my laptop off or on? like at night when im going to go to bed should i turn my laptop off or leave it on. The reason y i would leave it on during the night is cause that is when i have scedualed all my defraging and virus scans. is it bad to leave you laptop on all day like a desktop??

Turn it off if you're not going to be using it for more than a couple of hours and especially overnight. Laptops aren't designed for being kept on all the time.

laptops are not built to keep running all the time. they overheat. If you use one for extended periods you should purchas a cooling stand for it.
