does it mean i have to plug these 2 headers into the 4pin power cable from the power supply? I am asking because one of the headers from the fan doesn't look like the one to connect to the PSU.... someone plz help thx >.<

There are several configurations for fans. 1.2 possible options, one for the mobo and one for the power supply. Connect only 1 as they perform the same function. 2. A male and female connection with a lead for the fan. In this case, connect the female to the male from the power supply, leave the other end {male} for other devices and connect the small lead to the fan. {usually comes that way.} 3 A connector with 4 wires in to be connected to the power supply, and 2 out {or 3} for the fan.{also usually prewired.} If you have a choice, always connect to the power supply because it does not fail as often as the one to the mobo, And it runs all the time. I don't trust fans that run at intervals.

Looks like a mobo pin. Most Fans have are hard wired out to Power In, most of that is standard. P6,P5,P4,P3,P2 and P1. Depends on what thew Mobo is, Manufacturer, model, chipset, AMI/Asus,whaterver.
There is an Onboard female for mine. The Dell has a Onboard Male, different mobo, different stuff.
I would look on the board near a PCI or the CPU.

That's a Molex connector for powering things like hard drives and CD/DVD devices. Computer case fans don't use power connections like that. It's common to have extra unused connectors for expansion should you wish to add drives.

I'm unclear what you are asking. Are you worried because you see unused connectors like in your photo or are your fans actually off and unpowered? Fan power connectors are usually much smaller, 2-pin (two wires red and blue) and about 1/4" wide.

That looks like a 'pass-through' wire. Connect it to your PSU just like you would a CD-Drive or hard drive. You can use the 'open' end to the connect to a hard drive or cd drive, if you need to. Other wise, leave it hangin....
