i mean isn't the whole point of getting a job is to gain experience? why can't employers see this? they themselves needed the experience when they started out in the working world. what can be done to break this chain of bad luck for potential job seekers?

The minimum wage was designed for people like you....unfortunately it has been raised so high because people feel it should be living wage. Making the minimum wage a living wage or high has caused employers to seek out people who have experience already...it costs money to train people. Thank the democrats for that. It's predicted that 1st time job seekers will virtually be eliminated as a candidate.

Thank Bush for not creating jobs after 911 like he said he would. and the worst job market to date of any president.

If i were you, i'd do a little lying on your resume. If you have any family or friends that have their own business, you can easily get them to cover for you and say you did a little secretary work or something. worked for me.
