I refuse to believe I am just a 'strange' white boy with odd taste in women. Please explain to me how one standard of beauty took over everything. Isn't feminine beauty mainly based on fertility?

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder...I don't like greasy black skin and wigs with crazy colored weaves in it...........does not Look good!!

I dont think majority of people refuse to see the beauty in black women.. Maybe just the few youve been around have their negative oppinions.. I think there is beauty in all women of any color.. And beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Sometimes the inside and her personality and purity of heart shows up and makes her truly a wonderful beautiful lady...

Please don't ask me! I'm not even black but I find all kinds of women attractive and I don't understand how all of a sudden only too tan, too skinny, too bleached out hair and too white teeth, have become beautiful!!!!! I'm a girl by the way. And I am keeping it natural, regardless of what these other women want to do.

No idea. I find black women very beautiful. Not just the Tyra Banks either, dark skin is very sexy. Society just goes through wierd phases were certain things are consiered attractive. Like in the Victorian era when people would cut themselves and bleed into bowls to look paler.

I am a mixed woman and I appeal to men of all races. Black women are beautiful and always will be. To those that don't think so...FINE. But our true Men, find us very attractive. I don't need a WHITE man or anybody to tell me what they think is pretty because I know my worth and my beauty
And to Gladys, I live in Atlanta GA, attend Clark, have my own place and car. Never been on welfare or no one in my family. but I can tell you a few white girls who are... And you never know your man might be cheating on your ugly *** with a Black Woman.

And You people post these racial questions and what type of thrill do you get from them? A lot of men think a lot of white women are ugly...so what's the point. Damn leave black people alone!!!
That's why our youth r hating themselves because of this damn none sense. But this goes to show Black Folks racism is well and alive. So Black Folks stop putting each other down and killing each other because we already have "other folks that's doing a good job of it"

I think they get a bad rap from the media because of shows like Maury Povich and Judge Judy are always portraying black women to be two timing hookers who need need a paternity test to see who the babie's daddy is and in rap music and videos the rappers always talk about them in disrespectful ways. But I really do not think they are any different from the rest of peoples. Look, you like who you like and it's all good.

I know tons of Caucasian men who love and worship black women and women of color (latinas, Asians, Indians, etc) So I mean it is as everyone has stated--Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I know several Caucasian men friends who only date black or latina women because they find these women to ge beautiful........:) I think black women are beautiful regardless if another race thinks so or not--hey my mama is a sistah, gotta love you guys!

I'm not sure just how society decided everyone should look the same. How boring. I agree that many black women (& men) are gorgeous. I've never understood how someone like Hugh Hefner could continually pick "girlfriends" that all look identical.
