How many teeth does you mechanic have? He sound like a good one. I would hang on to him. If you have a hard time understanding your mechanic, you know he's gotta be good. Spent enough time around all the chemicals kind of burns out the speach centers. Oil and grease would be the correct answer. DO IT. however don't pay more then 45 bucks. anything more then that and he's putting in gold plated filters and that special kind of oil.

Just nod and smile when he says those kind of things. If a left handed screwdriver turns up on the bill, tell him you'll part pay the bill with a can of striped paint.
Oh, yes, I'm assuming by Laser you mean a make of car and not a light focusing device - (acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation) is an optical source that emits light in a coherent beam.
Sorry if I've gotten the wrong impression.

Oil is what makes your motor function properly and your joints need greased this should be done every 3,000 miles it will help with your gas mileage and help keep your vehicle running properly. Also if the oil breaks down bad enough it will cause your motor to seize up (lock up) it shouldn't be very expensive its preventive maintenance.
