Does anyone happen to know a thing or two about the Criminal Justice field? I am studying for my Bachelor's Degree of Science in Criminal Justice and the courses I am taking now are open to ideas about a research topic. Problem is I have no idea where to start. Have any ideas??

How about doing research on domestic violence and the lack of resources that may be out there for victims (and possibly as well as the abusers), recidivism (reoffending) rates of those that have been in the prison system and are on parole or who have completed their parole sentence, school violence and how it has gotten worse within the last 10 years or so and perhaps citing the Columbine massacre as an example (occured April '99), sexual assault/acquaintance rape on-campus type of research, adolescent suicide, or teens and gangs (withOut actually interviewing anyone from a gang ;) If I think of anymore possible topics, I'll add them. You may be able to glean some topics from your college textbooks. Good luck!

I do not know what level you are on in the CJ classes. However an interesting research paper is Photography in Criminial Justice. The correct and poorer way compared to take useful pictures (for evidence and court use) If you are
not into photography there are the standbys:
DNA and bug stuff, decomposed coupses and the effect and timing of bugs. (blah) I did not care for that section.
(of course I am a techie)
