I met Shaq at the Palos Verdes Concours D'Elegance three years ago. He was dressed in an all white suit and was standing next to a classic Deep purple and black '38 Bugatti Coupe..

I said hello and welcomed him to the show and he responded with a warm smile, a nod of his head with a thank you that was a class act.

I did not ask for his autograph because he was on his day off with friends enjoying the show, but I honestly believe he would have obliged if I had asked.

Kenny Smith, Mark Jackson, Walter Berry
John Stockton, Len Elmore

John Stockton was plesant but only want people to concentrate on his son. Len Elmore was the best even gave up an autograph, Walter Berry aloof
Played against Both Mark and Kenny long before they were BIG TIME. Both great people .

Jordan, Magic, Dumars, Ron Harper, more recently in Japan I met LeBron, Battier, Chris Paul & Hinrich. Jordan invited me to a practice. Shane Battier and Chris Paul had intelligent conversation with me and my friends.

I dont ask for autographs. I prefer the conversation but at the end of that practice Jordan's 89 team signed a b-ball for me.

I met D Fisher, Shaq, GP, B Russell, D George when they all played for the lakers...the above players, my friend the GM (Jimmy) and another friend of mine that works for the team (Steve) were all at the Raider/Packer game monday night after Brett's father passed...(they were playing the warriors in oakland the next night and Shaq was the Lexus halftime interview) they were all pretty cool and treated me like one of the guys after which everyone was invited to some party DWoodson and one of the other guys was throwing at a club in the city...and years ago when I was pretty young I met my neighbors cousin G Johnson (who used to leave us tickets) and a number of the players from the championship Warriors team (how long ago was that right?) asked about R Barry but was told he bails out of the back after games...

LeBron's A** is property of Upper Deck. He, like MJ, won't sign anything for anyone in any way under any conditions at any time, except Upper Deck.

Anyway, I've met a lot of Lakers guys: Kareem, Wilt (at the last signing session he ever did), Baylor, Magic, Worthy and Shaq. Also met a lot of Magic guys, from one year when I had season tickets, including Hill, McGrady and Mike Miller. Besides them, I've also met Chris Webber, Anfernee Hardaway, Bill Walton, Artis Gilmore, Otis Birdsong and Julius Erving.

Most of them were pretty decent guys except for Shaq, who just kind of pushed through the crowd and stepped on everyone's feet. Hardaway and Webber both just glared at everyone they saw and had their security crews looking tough and getting in people's faces. Wilt was pretty full of himself, Kareem, Worthy and McGrady were like statues, and Gilmore got sick to his stomach and started vomiting. Walton and Magic were definitely the nicest guys.
