If I leave my Comp on all the time. Does it consume alot of electricity

most don't 160 watts maybe, monitor requires some watts included, actually better to leave it on less surges then when you power it up each time just be surge you have a surge suppressor on it.

a computer can use between 65 and 250 watts per hour, some more, some less. Depending on how long you leave it on and where in the country you live, it can use a lot of electricity and get expensive. check your electricity bill.

It actually takes more energy to boot one up. I'd recommend shutting it down about once a week to have it reset itself. But you waste less electricity having it on rather than shutting it down and booting it back up the next day, believe it or not.

I leave mine on too. When the P.C. goes into sleep mode it hardly draws any power. It doesn't even set off my alarm on my battery back up when it's in sleep mode and the power shuts off.

it cost alittle more to leave it on and in sleep mode it does the same, so either just leave it be or turn it off

just try switching to batteries and leaving it on all the time, then you'll realize how fast you use up electricity.

yes it will cost more for you juss put it on sleep mode .. its wastes more energy tunring it on and off then keeping it on sleep mode
