Yes. As their advertising states, it is best for small lawns, with emphasis on the word 'small'. The units are well made, but battery life is limited. My experience was that they didn't last much longer than 20 minutes of continuous use, but I've heard that others do better.

The harder the mower has to work, the less time the battery will last on a charge. If you have thick, heavy grass with a lot of thatch build up, this little unit may not be able to tackle it very well.

To be really energy efficient, it would be best to hook up the unit to a solar system that could recharge the battery over a period of a day or so.
