i mean people say their your friends, but when something happens that they dont like they turn around and say they hate u. how is a best friend soposed to act? would they rat u out ? if they do, they say its for a good reason. is there ever realy a good reason? tell me could ur best friend fall in love with u? i realy need to know, what is a friend, best friend? how r they soposed to act?

honestly i don't know how to tell you wat a friend is. But I can tell you how a true friend is supposed to behave.
-he/she rejoices and morns with you
-is able to sacrifice sth so dear for you.
-is honest and transparent with you whatever be the case.
-tells you only the truth about you
-is always willing to listen and help.
-loves unconditionally. i.e. not because of your wealth or talent or e.t.c.
-is not jealous
-is not a leaking bucket (does not tellout your secrets, gossip about you)
-is not a discouraging person. (advices you to give up in though times.
-is or does the possible best to be optimistic about life.
this is about the most i can think of for now. i'll write more later, if possible.
a best friend will never rat you out. if he/she does then he/she is not a best friend, talkless of being a friend. cause he/she is most likely to turn against you or abandon you in though times. a true friend will not do that. and there is never a good reason to turn a friend out.
i think it is possible for your best friend to fall for you. mine did. your best friend may fall in love with you if you prove to be the ideal. cos what most guys are looking for is inner beauty.if you prove to be the kind described above, plus a girl of virtue then it's possible that he falls in luv with you. you know what true beaty comes from inside. think about this: have you ever met a very cute person but when you discover what a devil he can be, he suddenly becomes very ugly in your eyes. but when you meet someone ugly and discouver what an angel he is, he suddenly becomes the most handsome persone in the world? that's how it works.

True friends look out for you. Whether it's as a crying shoulder, someone to go to the movies with, or as the voice of reason when you are lost. They do not turn their back on you and say they hate you, they may however tell you that your acting the ***** and to call them in the morning when you're sober. If they rat you out it sure as hell better be for your own good. We tell our friends our secrets so that we don't have to bottle them up inside, and also so we can use them as a sounding board. If someone you trust enough to tell a secret to thinks you should come clean about it, it's worth at least thinking about it. Yes, absolutely you can (and should!!) fall in love with your best friend. Above all tho, a best friend is there for you. Hope this helps.

Honestly, a true good friend is like a true love, when you have it, you'll know it. I have so many friends that I hang out with and I use to think that my best friends are the ones I know since forever, hang out with all the times, have so many things in common, etc... However, when my boyfriend dumped me and I'm falling apart and need someone to help pick me up again, they are too busy with their own lives to listen to me, comfort me, which I always believe that's what a friend is for. So truly said, after this experience, I can honestly say i don't have any good friends I can count on, I have acquantainces that I hang out with. Friend is a special word for me now, kinda like love, I don't use it with just anybody...

A friend is someone who will stand by your side and support you through thick and thin as long as you don't do anything which is contrary to the their moral principles. For instance if you purposefully kill someone or rape someone. Then you have exceeded the bounds of friendship and should not expect your friend to perjure himself for your benefit.
A best friend doesn't say they like you one day and they hate you the next. Best friends overlooks each others shortcomings as long as we don't cross over the moral principle boundary.

ppl can have a lot of freinds but its way harder to have a real TRUE BLUE FRIEND who is there thick and thin. uslaly wehne the going gets rough u can learn who your real freinds are.
