It sounds like he took your friendship for granted.

I have and I sure many on this site have had to let people they cared about go.

You can be polite to him and even chat if you feel inclined , I would just be cautious as he may be without friends and trying to find friendship by moving backwards.

Do not let him burn you twice.

Give the poor guy a second chance. Seems like that is what he is asking for by being nice to you. However you should be able to tell early on if he has changed or not and if he has not changed end the friendship quick.

You should do what you want to do, in your heart. Everyone deserves a second chance, is mostly true ,but not always. You have to decide what is best for you. I would ask him why after what hes done to me does he think he deserves a second chance. If his explanation suits you be friends, if it doesn't don't, & explain why you can not give him another chance.

Please talk to him and make sure you and him can communicate effectively. Do not afraid to spill out and square with him. This is the best way to get it clear and if he misbehaves again then he is out. Move on and he should know that he have a small chance to get it right. Communicate and tell him what you do not like or like? good luck.

Was his friendship worth losing your pride and friends over? Can you forget about his rudeness before to let him be a friend now?

he sounds like a classic jerk. or he may just really like you and not know how to show it....you said he used to like you, maybe he still does and realizes that he upset you, but if he's over 13 i say no, don't let him back, cuz he needs to learn how to deal with his feelings in a less immature way, whether he likes you or not.

this is simple .... NO.. move on.. He will always find faults of one kind or other with you or your life and friends. ..
One can't be hurt by others , when you don't allow them in your life to hurt you.
It is your choice... if you chose to be hurt..
You are wiser and stronger than that.
