I find it interesting people would rather defer the question to Clinton's service, when Clinton's handling of Kosovo is FAR more successful than Bush's current quagmire in Iraq. As for the relevance of the question, I think direct combat experience would have given Mr. Bush a better appreciation for what he's subjecting thousands of our soldiers to in Iraq. His father, the first President Bush, was shot down in World War II and I think he developed a sense of the cost and sacrifice from that incident, even if he came out alive. His handing of the first Gulf War was tactical, short-term, and had an exit strategy. How far the apple has fallen from the tree.
So you few remaining Bushites bully, defer, and ignore the question. I'm guessing that helps you sleep better than really thinking what combat experience (beer runs for a partial assignment in the Alabama Nat Guard doesn't count) could've done to shape the current President's Iraq policy.

Military experience isn't necessary for a leader. Roosevelt did a fair job, and had no military experience. Carter had military experience and was awful.

I find the following very interesting:
1. Someone claimed to have Bush's Personnel records from his Military service. I find it interesting that no one ever questioned why someone would have these records, as it is government property and confidential. No one asked how they obtained it.
2. There are claims that George Bush volunteered to go to Vietnam and serve as a fighter pilot, but was turned down due to not enough experience.
But why weren't these questions ever brought up.
If someone had your performance records from a past employer, wouldn't you want to know why someone took those records outside of the employer? But that was never even questioned.
Journalism should question everything, and they did not.

They began dumping jobs earlier than bush left workplace when you consider that the bubble had burst and benefit was once being taken wholesale. Don't consider it is unhealthy but, the bubble is re-increasing and is about to break down for a brand new benefit taking in overdue 2015 early 2016. About Saturday Night reside now, it is a mere shadow of itself in comparison to while it began!

What would combat experiece using methods outdated by several decades do to enhance someone's ability to lead an entire country? There's a lot more to being president than military functions.
By the way, it's was his father's team that decided it was a smooth move to leave the Kurd's a55e5 out in the wind after they told them to fight against Saddam and then gave the Iraq military the right to use their helicopters after the war for "humane reasons" which ended up being attacking the Kurds. Bush Sr. wasn't a military genius.

He wouldn't be President and head cheerleader right now, I figure Bush would have experienced some friendly fire if he actually did serve in Nam.

No, because his pea-sized brain wouldn't have absorbed any lessons from the experience anyway. Even if it had, they would have long been destroyed by his two decade long love affair with Jack Daniels.

I don't know about that!! When your a spoiled rich kid you have the tendency to do what you want!! Get so use to doing what you want that you don't listen to anyone else. People who know what they are talking about for instance Colon Powell. Instead of listening to those who know you get rid of them cause "I be a rich kid so do it my way."

Are you trying to insult someone who volunteered for the national guard, while clinton fled to canada?
Because it would really make you look like a hypocrite.

I don't think anything short of a brain transplant would have helped Dubya!
EDIT: Don't forget, "coke" and alcohol both kill brain cells, and if you don't have a lot of them to begin with.....
