a duplex that was later on made into 2 suites. You can hear the neighbors alarm clocks, their voices, their broken dryer, everything! Your place is cold on one end and hot on the other. Would you move to a place that is originally structured for multiple suites? The location is good, the place looks nice, but the building really sucs. Would you move or stay?

You live only ones, I would move. If I had the possibility of course, and if you like the place then move somewhere close to the same building. Good luck.

I would but it is not always as simple as that, the cost and inconvenience for example. You seem happy with the location, could you speak to your neighbours, let them know how much their noise is disrupting your life, and perhaps the landlord about your place being hot one end, cold the other, that's a health hazard.

I would try to get the rental office or owner's association to do something about it. It sounds like some construction crew got lazy and didnt do a good job. Anyway if thats the case you may need to move anyway for them to fix it.

Are there no building codes regarding noise pollution from neighbours where you live?
If there are then you could take the matter up with the landlord.
