I thank God for being in the family of God. I just got some insightful views on my situation and I am very grateful for all of them (except for the ones that said God does not exist)). At any rate, I am most intrigued by the last statement that asked if I had prayed about my divorce. After being married only 8 months, I must answer honestly and say no I have not prayed about the divorce. On the account of my husband suggesting it on yesterday, my pride will not allow me to really ask God to work us out because we are truly unequally yolked. Even though both of us are pastors' children, my husband has become confused and resistant to God, it seems on purpose. He's almost fourteen years my senior, and I guess I married him for one vain reason-expecting him to be more stable emotionally & eventually spiritually. My pride won't allow me to pray for my marriage because I would feel desperate & not to mention, my husband suggested it. What should I do seeing as though he wants divorc

Please do not give up on your marriage! Submit yourself to God's will, get on your knees and pray, pray that God will give you insight that you may not have had before. Ask God to show you where your faults lie. And finally, ask him to take away your character defects, like pride, and to soften your heart towards your husbands sin. As far as your husband divorcing you, you have no control over his behavior, BUT, you do not need to file, or make it easy for him! If your husband is running from God, then he needs lots of prayer, contact everyone you know and ask them to pray for him! He is apparently being seduced not only in the physical sense but the emotional/spiritual sense. PLEASE pray for him. I will! I have been praying this am for you both, my heart goes out to you both. I believe that God can mend anything, and my God is way bigger than your problem, so please reach out to him, he will answer!

If one partner wants a divorce then it's inevitable that a divorce will happen, you should not pray to save your marriage if your not happy and know it's over. You should pray for the strength to get through it. Divorces are not an easy thing to go through, I know and your gonna need all the support and strength you can get.

Divorce is not easy. If that is what he wants then give to him no need to fight it. You shouldn't stay married if there is no love. Marriage is a 50/50 thing and if he isn't doing his part let him go. God gives us things that he knows will make us stronger. I wish u luck with your new future

The earth is being run by Satan at the moment .What make you think hes going to save your marriage when he doesn't even save the children that's dieing . Maybe you should pray that his new kingdom comes to end all the evil that we see today.

Honestly it sounds like God is more important to you than your husband and that's totally fine. He may just have different priorities in life than you do. Find someone who loves God as much as you, someone else who wants to live their life worshiping, whatever floats your boat. You two just don't sound like you are happy with eachother, and you can't force someone to have the same beliefs as you do, instead find someone who does. Your husband may beleive in God you may have the same religion, but it sounds like he wants to enjoy his life with God but not For God. There is a difference.
