Honestly, you see so many people all obsessed with their weight, their looks, their fashion, their love life, shouldn't they have a god who shares their concerns and can actually do something to help them?

Right. I agree. They should have a God who shares their concerns, but you say that their concerns are beauty love and joy. I say that their concerns are really themselves. They are concerned with bringing themselves money, fame, and in some cases infamy (any publicity is good publicity, right?). So maybe they shouldn't worship Venus, but should be literally worshipping themselves. They should announce to the world that they believe they are the prophet, returned in the incarnate form, and people should just bow down to them once and for all, in order to avoid eternal damnation. Then maybe somebody would crucify them once and for all.

**The Goddess of Vanity**,cos the extremes some celebs will go to TRY and stop ageing gracefully is truly amazing.
Most of them look worse after awhile anyway,nearly all can't stand near an open fireplace for the fear of melting ..LOLâ¥

No, I believe instead of Venus the Goddess of beauty, etc.,
they worship and sell their very souls to Satan the Devil instead.
Haven't you noticed? they get their 7 years of fame and fortune and then must enter rehab when their time has expired.
